after a dpkg-reconfigure locales, it prints the Generating locales... message. When configuring complex locales such as zh_CN*, this process will take almost 5 minutes on my P3/700! Thus you might want to change this message into something like: Generating locales... (this will take some time in case of complex languages) or Generating locales...
