Package: memcached Version: 1.2.2-1 Severity: normal
The memcached man page seems to be out of date. In particular, the "-s" option now specifies a unix domain socket to listen on and "-n" is used to specify the minimum space allocated for key+value+flags, default 48. This might be classified as "minor", except that I think the newer -s option is an important security consideration. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages memcached depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libevent1 1.3b-0 An asynchronous event notification ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction memcached recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
