If Iceweasel is truly a variant of Firefox, and unless you feel the licensing prevents you from doing so, I think the right thing to do as a web citizen is to *add* to the user agent string, e.g. Firefox/2.0.0.6 IceWeasel/1.0
On rare occasions, such as to work around a bug in a particular Firefox version, code may expect to see this identifier. And yes, some people use the user-agent string incorrectly. It's arrogant to expect everyone else to adapt to this. >Konqueror does live fine without Firefox in its User-Agent. Konqueror isn't based on Firefox. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
