Package: munin
Version: 1.2.5-1
Severity: important

In Debian Edu, we got a report stating that some of the default
partitions created by d-i in Debian Edu are not graphed by munin as
they should. The Debian Edu bug report is available from
<URL: http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1246 >.

Here is the bug reporters text:

I noticed that munin doesn't graph partitions such as:
  /dev/mapper/vg_system-skole+backup
  /dev/mapper/vg_system-skole+tjener+home0
 /dev/mapper/vg_system-var+opt+ltsp+swapfiles
  /dev/mapper/vg_system-var+spool+squid
That graph just mentions them with the value 'nan'.

  munin-run says this:
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_root.value 37
  tmpfs_lib_init_rw.value 0
  udev_dev.value 1
  tmpfs_dev_shm.value 1
  none_tmp.value 1
  _dev_md0.value 36
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_opt.value 74
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_skole+backup.value 2
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_skole+tjener+home0.value 48
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_usr.value 60
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_var.value 35
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_var+opt+ltsp+swapfiles.value 61
  _dev_mapper_vg_system_var+spool+squid.value 33
  _dev_hdc1.value 58

I guess this is a bug in munin treating the string as a regex. I have
not investigated where this happens.

Setting severity to important as this make munin disk graphing useless
for partitions created by the partman-lvm-auto module.

Happy hacking,
