I very much agree with the above, and that's why I'm doing this bug triage. I'm not a Debian developer, or even a maintainer. At the moment, I'm focusing on confirming old bug reports, closing them if they are fixed in later versions, forwarding or fixing bugs that still apply, and ultimately closing bugs that can't be reproduced and where the submitter doesn't respond.
