Though I didn't know this problem, AFAICT that -nomule package is problematic and not recommended, because the MULE feature is a standard feature of Emacs. -nomule package causes an error when the MULE feature is used. The xemacs* package maintainer Makoto, will you intend to maintain -nomule package for lenny? I hope that -nomule package will be removed. -- Tatsuya Kinoshita
