gramps fails to start as long as python-gtk-1.2 is still installed.
I end up with an error loading the gtk module:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/gramps/gramps.py", line 50, in ?
import gtk.gdk
ImportError: No module named gtk.gdk
Obviously this is due to another pygtk.py, which python-gtk-1.2 installs
in /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages.
