Maybe not. Feel free to downgrade. My bad anyway :( Sorry I wasn't clear enough. With the conf-file is missing, uif is started just to find out it can't do anything useful and generates the "Hi. This is your firewall script - which has failed" mail. Now, all that work won't be necessary if the startup script can detect that by itself and fail.
