Hi, on recent kernels the vmware-server-kernel-source module does not compile[1]. However patched with the vmware-any-any sources it does work. [1] http://www.vmware.com/community/thread.jspa?messageID=712792 Currently vmware-package splits the vmware-server and vmware-any-any in two packages. But IMHO it would be nice if id would do the patching with vmware-any-any automatically, and build a single merged vmware-kernel-source.tar.bz2 file which compiles cleanly.
