Seems that the locales version 2.0.0.4 can't work with the iceweasel version 2.0.0.3 but they're both packaged in lenny so that a apt-get dist-upgrade makes the locales not working. in the iceweasel Add-ons panel i learn that "Italiano (IT) Language Pack 2.0.0.4 Not Compatible with Iceweasel 2.0.0.3" two buttons are present (Enable and Uninstall) but both are not active. Sorry if i made some errors but this is my first bug report and i'm not so able to write in english.
