Package: libvte9 Version: 1:0.16.6-2 Severity: important This bug appeared only tonight on this amd64 box, immediately after an apt-get upgrade.
Another (powerpc) box has not had a libvte9 upgrade but is otherwise in sync with unstable and is not showing this bug. Ctrl-P is a stop-gap but it is hardly a usable workaround. PLEASE can this be fixed real, real soon? The bug disappears when running inside screen. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-amd64 Debian Release: lenny/sid 500 unstable www.linux.codehelp.co.uk 500 unstable www.emdebian.org 500 unstable ftp.uk.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ========================================-+-====================== libatk1.0-0 (>= 1.13.2) | 1.18.0-2 libc6 (>= 2.6-1) | 2.6-3 libcairo2 (>= 1.4.0) | 1.4.10-1+b2 libfontconfig1 (>= 2.4.0) | 2.4.2-1.2 libfreetype6 (>= 2.3.5) | 2.3.5-1+b1 libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.12.9) | 2.12.13-1 libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.10.12-3) | 2.10.13-1 libice6 (>= 1:1.0.0) | 2:1.0.3-3 libncurses5 (>= 5.6) | 5.6+20070716-1 libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.16.4) | 1.16.4-3 libpng12-0 (>= 1.2.13-4) | 1.2.15~beta5-2 libsm6 | 2:1.0.3-1+b1 libx11-6 | 2:1.0.3-7 libxcursor1 (>> 1.1.2) | 1:1.1.8-2 libxext6 | 1:1.0.3-2 libxfixes3 (>= 1:4.0.1) | 1:4.0.3-2 libxft2 (>> 2.1.1) | 2.1.12-2 libxi6 | 2:1.1.1-1 libxinerama1 | 1:1.0.2-1 libxrandr2 (>= 2:1.2.0) | 2:1.2.1-1 libxrender1 | 1:0.9.2-1 zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-1) | 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-5 libvte-common | 1:0.16.6-2 -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
