The solution:
1. Detect is the system locale
KOI8-R
2. Install as dependency a package
t1-cyrillic
3. Edit /etc/a2ps-site.cfg
,
- change the
line:
Options:
--encoding=KOI8-R
- add to the end a
line:
PrependLibraryPath:
/usr/share/fonts/type1/cyrillic
4. Generate new font.map ,
run:
/usr/share/a2ps/afm/make_fonts_map.sh
- rename newborn font.map.new to
font.map
That's all.
p.s. sorry sending this report non-standard way. It was created on newly
configured system not yet connected to I-net.., and manually sent via my
regular mailer on myworkplace PC...
