Hi, after running the daily doodle cron script, the file permissions of the doodle database are: $ ll /var/lib/doodle - -rw------- 1 root doodle 181284818 2007-07-13 16:20 doodle.db So the only user able to run doodle is root. I changed the permissions manually to 640: - -rw-r----- 1 root doodle 181284818 2007-07-13 16:20 doodle.db After that I was able to use doodle as non-root user. I suggest adding the chmod call to the cron script.
