This is a deliberate choice on the part of upstream intended to improve robustness in much the same way that many people use -Werror when compiling. I've removed the patch tag since I don't want to use this unless forced to and it looks like the change breaks some of the checks which need to make sure that correct headers are being included. In any case, the real fix is in the toolchain and this is a substantial variation from upstream to work around the problem. Do *not* NMU this without speaking to me. At the very least this should wait until after the current version has propagated to testing. -- "You grabbed my hand and we fell into it, like a daydream - or a fever."
