Please, if you're going to file bugs like this also file the relevant
bug against the toolchain (I have now done so).

This is a deliberate choice on the part of upstream intended to improve 
robustness in much the same way that many people use -Werror when
compiling.

I've removed the patch tag since I don't want to use this unless forced
to and it looks like the change breaks some of the checks which need to
make sure that correct headers are being included.  In any case, the
real fix is in the toolchain and this is a substantial variation from
upstream to work around the problem.

Do *not* NMU this without speaking to me.  At the very least this should
wait until after the current version has propagated to testing.
