Package: kernel-package
Version: 11.001
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
I'm reporting a new bug against kernel-package as postinst created by
this package does not remove modules.seriomap on purge.
modules.seriomap should be added to the list of files to remove
(line 368 of /usr/share/kernel-package/pkg/image/postrm)
I cc the bug 429161 that should probably be blocked by this one and
then, linux-image-* should be rebuild with a new version of
kernel-package (but I'm not sure : I do not know exactly how official
kernels are built)
Note for the kernel team : all last kernel packages left the
modules.seriomap file (ie all last *-rc* package at least)
Best regards,
Vincent
