Ok, so the topic of the bug report "removable device are not mounted anymore in
unstable" is a bit misleading then.
Mounting of removable devices seems to work.

That sounds like a bug in g-v-m or hal.
Either hal does not detect your digital camera correctly or g-v-m is behaving 
badly.
Please attach the output of lshal to the bug report.
In case your camera is not accessed as mass storage device, you probably need to
have gphoto (libgphoto2-2) installed. Please check that too.
