Hi,
As I blogged few days ago, I created an i18n patch for module-assistant.
There is a similar patch as #261989, but my patch is more kindness for
translators. :-)
* Each translations will be located on po/ directory.
When translator send *.po translation file to you, your work is to
put it in po/ directory and modify po/Makefile (POFILES and MOFILES).
* To wrap multi byte characters correctly, I used
wrap() function in libtext-wrapi18n-perl package. Normally this
package always exists on any environment, because this package is
defined as 'important'.
* Gettextize is only if liblocale-gettext-perl is installed. If there
isn't, m-a shows just in English.
* I fixed some typo (I think) in messages:
update-modules -> module-assistant
modulse -> modules
thouh -> though
This patch
modifies: module-assistant, Makefile, debian/rules, debian/control
adds: po/Makefile, po/messages.pot(English template file),
po/ja.po(Japanese translation)
