Package: module-init-tools
Version: 3.3-pre11-3
Severity: important
Hello,
Recent version of module-init-tools doesn't upgrade correctly, I get
the following error:
Setting up module-init-tools (3.3-pre11-3) ...
dpkg-divert: rename involves overwriting `/sbin/depmod' with
different file `/sbin/depmod.modutils', not allowed
dpkg: error processing module-init-tools (--install):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
module-init-tools
I've played around with downgrading to all the versions I had in
/var/cache/apt/archive:
20:43 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ ls /var/cache/apt/archives/module-init-tools_3.3-pre*
/var/cache/apt/archives/module-init-tools_3.3-pre11-1_amd64.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/module-init-tools_3.3-pre11-2_amd64.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/module-init-tools_3.3-pre11-3_amd64.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/module-init-tools_3.3-pre4-2_amd64.deb
With none of them as a starting point does it upgrade properly.
I have another problem to report, but I'll file another bug report.
Regards,
Vincent Fourmond
