Perhaps. I have been unable to duplicate the symptoms. The postinst
content is indeed being generated by dh_installinfo, called this way:
dh_installinfo doc/gzip.info
No recent changes to that part of the packaging... so I'm not really
sure what the root cause of this problem might be.
