The bad news is that any option that is specified in ~/.svn-buildpackage.conf
and is not an option of svn-upgrade will
have the same effect (I am saying this only for reference purposes, in case
someone else hits this, too). The good news
is that I have a pending (and not committed) patch already.

Oops, it seems that my plan to import options from ~/.svn-buildpackage.conf
also when using svn-upgrade has not been
thought that well.

I have a pending commit that should fix this issue, thanks for the BR. I will
test myself the changes and will commit
afterwards.

Of course :-D (says he who introduced this bug) , this would have been the
workaround I would have recommended too,
until the next release :-) .
