Package: mozilla-mailnews
Version: 2:1.7.6-1
Severity: important

Takuo,

thank you for all the hard work to maintain mozilla on Debian. I think
some kind of regression has crept into the latest release. At least I
think that around that time, the mailnews component started acting funny
when I reply to or create a new message. Instead of the window to input
my message I get a pop-up window with yellow background and black and
red text. The title of the pop-up is "Gecko", the text reads as follows

XML Parsing Error: syntax error
Location: chrome://messenger/content/messengercompose/messengercompose.xul
Line Number 1, column 3:

  num_domains++;
__^

..xul"?>
____^

    <menu label="&securityMenu.label;" accesskey="&securityMenu.accesskey;">
_________________^

ATM I cannot use mozilla-mailnews to do my mailwork.

Regards

Rolf
