That's interesting. Bug #427085 reports that kaffeine crashes right
after trying to play some video.

I think this would be a good option.

Btw, xine-ui needs to hard depend on libxine1-ffmpeg, because its
startup splash is mpeg encoded as well. I thought a similar reason could
also apply to kaffeine...
