Package: xmms2-plugin-curl
Version: 0.2DrJekyll-1
The curl plugin for xmms2 DrJekyll depends on libcurl. The debian
package depens on libcurl4-openssl. The only version of this package
available is 7.16.2. However, when I try to open a stream, my xmms2 log
reports:
(~/.cache/xmms2/xmms2d.log):
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:220:
**********************************************
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:221: Your version of libcurl is
incompatible with
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:222: XMMS2 and you will not be
able to stream shout/ice-cast
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:223: radio stations. Please
consider downgrade to 7.15 or
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:224: upgrade to a more recent
version than 7.16.2
INFO: ../src/plugins/curl/curl_http.c:225:
**********************************************
ERROR: ../src/xmms/xform.c:1273: Couldn't set up chain for
'http://64.27.19.104:8822' (3183)
Downgrading isn't possible because of the curl4 depency.
So I suggest to change the depency to libcurl3. I don't know if that
works, I am testing it. I'll add the result of my tries later ;)
