by applying this patch, capslock works again :

i did just typed in some letters like e, q, é and some composed letters like É,
pressed capslock, again some letters, 2 to 3 times to make sure caplock is
active or not, as my keyboard have not leds to show me caps/num/scroll states.

i also had to change dumpkeys to zcat ... to avoid racing conditions.
