This was the original setup since version 1:6.6.3-2 is used by both stable and unstable. The problem seems to be in one of the downgraded packages! It seems I can upgrade xserver-xorg-core to 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-5 without upgrading xserver-xorg to 1:7.2-3 but do you really think the problem is in xserver-xorg-7.2?
