Package: libanthy0
Version: 8607-1.1
Severity: normal

Following a recent upgrade of anthy from 7900-3 to 8607-1, my GTK apps
started to SEGV on startup. The cause seems to have been that
libanthy0 was at 8607 while anthy remained 7900, and the former was
incompatible with the latter's depwords files. I'm blaming the
depwords files because gdb pointed to some function named something
like anthy_(something)_depwords. (I didn't write down the exact name
and now I don't want to do a downgrade etc just to figure it out; I'll
do that and report back if you absolutely need the name of that
function.) Manually upgrading anthy solved the problem.

Now, libanthy0 was upgraded automatically when I upgraded uim-anthy,
which depends on anthy (no ver. requirement) and libanthy0 (>= 8607).
Since libanthy0 also depends only on generic-version anthy, anthy
remained at 7900. If the problem indeed was caused by the version
mismatch, I think a version requirement should be added to the
dependency.
