Hi Chirstoph, You reported this bug a while back. It's really a bug with Google Earth itself, but I've left it open until we find a workaround or see that it's closed out upstream.
A new minor version (not just patchlevel) of Google Earth is out, 4.1, which is now supported by googleearth-package 0.1.0. You might try rebuilding with the new Google Earth and the new googleearth-package, and see if this problem still exists. -- Wesley J.
