I'm also seeing this on sparc. And it looks like some timestamps in
/var/run/sudo are in fact incorrect:
leftcoast[509] [~]> sudo ls -la /var/run/sudo/
total 36
drwx------ 9 root root 4096 Apr 7 13:28 .
drwxr-xr-x 13 root root 4096 Apr 7 06:25 ..
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Apr 7 13:29 user1
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Jul 24 2029 user2
... it only happens intermittently, and I haven't found a sequence of
events that consistently reproduces this behavior.
This system is running a custom-compiled 2.4.18 sparc64 kernel,
current testing packages.
