Package: totem Version: 2.16.6-1 Severity: important Totem inserts little pauses between audio tracks. This is crucial to avoid for certain recordings. For example, opera recordings are meant to be played continuously, without pause between the tracks. This works just fine with any commercial CD player, and xmms put much energy into getting it right. totem now needs to put that energy in too. It requires getting the next stream ready while the last one is finishing so that the first sample can be played right on time. Even the tiniest delay is noticeable and distracting and a bug.
