I've done some testing with a daily mini.iso and did not get very far: g-i hangs with a white screen. Just as a reminder I've tried the following: boot with the following lines: - "acpi=off" - "acpi=off noapic" - "video=imacfb:macbook" I've then tried to boot with "install DEBIAN_FRONTEND=newt" and got the output of directfb initialization (which doesn't tell me much) ------------------------------------------------------------------ ~ # export DEBIAN_FRONTEND=gtk ~ # debian-installer (*) DirectFB/Config: Parsing config file '/etc/directfbrc'. ---------------------- DirectFB v0.9.25 --------------------- (c) 2000-2002 convergence integrated media GmbH (c) 2002-2004 convergence GmbH ----------------------------------------------------------- (*) DirectFB/Core: Single Application Core.
