I just uploaded the package of the new version. You can help by reviewing
the patches proposed upstream on the sourceforge, and testing whether they
work/help or not.

Do do so, copy them under debian/patches, and add their name at the end of
the debian/patches/series file. They will get included at package build time
automatically, allowing you to test them easily.

If some of them do not apply properly to the current tree, it would be
really helpful of you to upgrade them. For this, you need to use quilt (the
patch management tool used in the package). I can help you on need with this.

Of course, writing new patches, or extracting from upstream svn patches
fixing some bugs reported in the debian BTS would be equally helpful.

Just tell me want you're willing to do, and we can go further on details.
Bye, Mt.
