I can confirm similar behavior of oowriter on two my computers using testing distribution. First one uses 1.1.3-7 (testing), the second one has 1.1.4-1 (from experimental). It loads document very long. And dies unexpectedly with:
sh: crash_report: command not found Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0xaaeb)! Fatal exception: Signal 11 Stack: /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72e03ec] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72e0579] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72e0644] [0xffffe420] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72d575f] /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libpthread.so.0[0xb6eedca3] /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__clone+0x5a)[0xb6ce09ba] I have observed these issues few weeks ago. Then OO was working fine for some time. Now (a week ago?) the problems appeared again. Note that I often update both my systems. The problem makes OO unusable on my computers. I have to use OO 1.1.4 on Win XP :( Kind regards, Mirek -- Miroslaw Sankowski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> PGP key: http://www.pit.gda.pl/~msankowski/msankowski.asc (ID 462B4D1E) Address: Przemyslowy Instytut Telekomunikacji, Oddzial Gdanski Telecommunications Research Institute, Gdansk Division Al.
