Package: gmail-notify Version: 1.6.1-3 Severity: normal Gmail-notify fails to correctly handle the ampersand ('&') in the GmailAtom results, so sender and/or subject line text which include the '&' character is not being correctly displayed in the popup.
To demonstrate: 1. Send an email to your user account at Gmail either with a From line or a Subject line containing an ampersand (&). For example: From: Laurel & Hardy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or Subject: Testing & testing 2. (Re)start gmail-notify now. 3. When '1 unread message' appears, click on button to activate popup. 4. Popup displays "Gmail Notifier. Connecting ..." instead of message information. Note: if there are other unread messages in the Gmail inbox, this might not reproduce. Mark other messages as read to reproduce error.
