Hi, The new Intel driver 2.0.0 that entered unstable yesterday is supposed to make 915resolution useless and get 1400x1050 from scratch, since it does not use the BIOS tables anymore. Could you try upgrading xserver-xorg-core and xserver-xorg-video-i810 to unstable?
