I've not yet had time to properly investigate this, but from a first
look it seems your mod4 is both Super and Hyper [1].

mod4        Super_L (0x73),  Super_R (0x74),  Super_L (0x7f),  Hyper_L (0x80)

Could you try with H-s- instead of s- ? Hopefully that should work both
with the old and with the new version of ratpoison.

[1] actually xmodmap only takes a look at the old compatibility layer of
the X keyboard, and I've not yet researched how or if modifiers differ
between classic X and xkb extension nowaydays used and whether the functions
ratpoison use are the new or the old layer. But the output of xmodmap
is the best starting point no matter what.
