I'm attaching you the relevant debian/changelog.
The changelog is not really relevant, though tnx for including :-)
The problem was that if the environment variable $TZ is not set it warns
about undefined values. I have changed it (in the repository) to use
/etc/timezone if $TZ is not set which should fix the problem.
