Package: nowebm Version: 2.11b-2 Severity: minor File: /usr/share/texmf/tex/plain/misc/noweb.sty
The German latex files contain "Dieser Code schreibt man zum File " this is not correct (or understandable) German and not a correct translation of the English "This code is written to file " A better translation would be "Dieser Code geht in Datei" which incidently is present in /usr/share/texmf/tex/plain/misc/noweb.sty but not active. I would suggest to use "Dieser Code schreibt den File " "Dieser Code erzeugt die Datei " The first is closer to a literal translation of the English text; the second option is closer to the *meaning* of the English text and to what actually happens. (This code generates the file ) Thanks, Johannes -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages nowebm depends on: ii gawk 1:3.1.5.dfsg-4 GNU awk, a pattern scanning and pr ii iconx 9.4.2-2.7 Executor for Icon, a high-level pr ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries nowebm recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
