Package: nowebm
Version: 2.11b-2
Severity: minor

File:
/usr/share/texmf/tex/plain/misc/noweb.sty

The German latex files contain

"Dieser Code schreibt man zum File "

this is not correct (or understandable) German and not a correct
translation of the English

"This code is written to file "

A better translation would be

"Dieser Code geht in Datei"
which incidently is present in
/usr/share/texmf/tex/plain/misc/noweb.sty
but not active.

I would suggest to use
"Dieser Code schreibt den File "
"Dieser Code erzeugt die Datei "

The first is closer to a literal translation of the English text; the
second option is closer to the *meaning* of the English text and to what
actually happens. (This code generates the file )

Thanks,
Johannes
