Dear Frans, Unfortunately, I don't have access to the computer anymore to provide you the necessary hardware information. All I can tell you is the motherboard and the controller (ASUS P4PE with Onboard Promise Fastrack 376). Both connectors work fine under Windows XP. I have googled around and the problem is known. The PATA connector only works if a patch to libata is applied.
