Please, use following recipe to update libtool.
cp /usr/share/libtool/libtool.m4 cfg/m4/
libtoolize -c -f
aclocal-1.7 -I cfg/m4/
autoconf
There is also need for tweak bellow, but it wouldn't be kfreebsd specific.
