hi,
i'm not able to install the courier-imap (and courier-imap-ssl) package on
an amd64 architecture. here is my aptitude install output (sorry, only in
available in german as my default-charset is de_DE.UTF-8).

furthermore this happens on the debian-linux-kernel as well as on the latest kernel on
kernel.org (2.6.20.6).
Can you please give more details about your exact hardware and were you
able to solve the problem by increasing IMAP_ULIMITD in /etc/courier/imapd ?
