thank you for the bug report, however, I cannot reproduce the problem.

Can you provide me with the details of your hdc device settings
(permissions, chain of links, configuration in terms of hdc driver
kernel log)?

Is this a precompiled kernel from etch or do you use some home-compiled
kernel? Do you use standard udev?
