This may be a misunderstanding caused by my paranoia (obscuring my IP address in the log output). It is not me pinging, it is mozilla.com machines pinging me. Of course I assume it happens because of something iceweasel sends to them. Until now I did no logging in the OUTPUT chain of my firewall or otherwise, so I can't say what it is my iceweasel does, but I'll get on the case ASAP. :-) Mike> BTW, do you have extensions or language packs installed ?
