Package: request-tracker3.6 Version: 3.6.1-4 Severity: normal The SpeedyCGI-specific dependencies of the Apache packages are not quite right.
For rt3.6-apache, just speedy-cgi-perl will do, there's no need for libapache-mod-speedycgi. In fact, the configuration supplied (apache-speedycgi.conf) doesn't even use libapache-mod-speedycgi. (Most of the performance improvements in SpeedyCGI are given by plain speedy-cgi-perl, which will execute a separate backend process for persistence. A very small frontend program then communicates with the backend, and the Apache module moves this frontend into Apache itself, giving just a small final optimization.) For rt3.6-apache2, there's currently nothing about speedy-cgi-perl in the dependencies, although we do ship a configuration file. Of course, the above applies here too. I'll fix these myself, this is just a reminder. Cheers, -- Niko Tyni [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
