looking at the differences in the code for Thread::close() between 1.0.13 and 1.5.1 you can see the _tid is no longer reset to zero, while isRunning() relies on that. Repatching this in again fixed the bug w/ no ill effects afaics (though I lack insight to the internals ;). See the dpatch file in the attachment.
