Debconf notes are most of the time evil, anyway. At first glance, I see this one as a case for debconf abuse. PS: please note that an effort to proofread the mediawiki1.7 debconf templates is likely to be launched soon after I discovered that changes were added to debconf stuff (the debconf note).
