Please check the "ac" module too.
From which hal version did you upgrade?
Does it also happen with a stock Debian kernel?
You are running a self compiled 2.6.21-rc4. Make sure to compile it with
CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED=y

If that doesn't help run
hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes and attach the output (gzipped) to this
bug report.
