-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thanks for this report. i'm actually seeing a similar behavior on certain versions of Inkscape on Mac OS X, but i don't see it under debian. Under debian, i can open the tutorials fine either from the help menu or from File|Open.
Is it possible that this is uncovering a problem with the libgnomevfs? What kind of filesystem is '/usr/share/inkscape/tutorials/tutorial-basic.svg' mounted on for you? on my debian system i'm testing with (mixed etch/sid): [0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ dpkg -l libgnomevfs2-0 inkscape Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-==============-==============-============================================ ii inkscape 0.45-1 vector-based drawing program ii libgnomevfs2-0 2.14.2-7 GNOME virtual file-system (runtime libraries [0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ --dkg -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8+ <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iD8DBQFGAVRciXTlFKVLY2URAv6hAJwNuwh70H+I6vnRMKJ19GMOsCJhkwCfZYHe XoYP72a0tz7sT3VYG7gD05k= =0d5Y -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
