The good thing is, it still starts even if I install > uim-common :-) I was probably not clear. Let me summarize the symptom of the bug: 1. Without scim-uim installed, scim-setup starts fine. 2. With scim-uim installed but not uim-common, scim-setup can't start and spits out errors. 3. With both scim-uim and uim-common installed, scim-setup starts fine again. Roland, when you said you can't reproduce the bug, did you have scim-uim installed? Would you please test all the above three scenarios?
