I think that in case of suspend/resume cycles, plugged devices may need
to be unmounted, remounted, and stuff like dbus or hal (as a
consequence) may need to be restarted...

So, I think gvm should be able to resist such situations (and
drive-mount-applet too).

I'm no so sure about what's needed to properly address
mounting/unmounting and restarts in hibernate though... anyway, in the
case this could be usefull, that were my 2 cents,
