Just wanted to confirm this, although I'm not running Debian anymore (sorry :). I do however run into the same problem when trying to link something against freeglut on Ubuntu 6.10:
> /usr/bin/ld: BFD 2.17 Debian GNU/Linux assertion fail > ../../binutils-2.17/bfd/elflink.c:6261 > /usr/bin/ld: monod.exe: hidden symbol `__fini_array_end' in monod.exe is > referenced by DSO > /usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Nonrepresentable section on output > collect2: ld returned 1 exit status > /usr/local/bin/grind: line 65: ./monod.exe: No such file or directory freeglut3 2.4.0-5 binutils 2.17.1ubuntu1 libc6 2.4.1ubuntu12.3 libgl1-mesa-glx 6.5.1~20060817-0ubuntu3 I'll report this properly in the Ubuntu bugtracker as well, but as it's already open here: is there anything I can do to help analyse the problem? -Levien -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
